Welcome to the third annual #BBQWeek hosted by A Kitchen Hoor’s Adventures. We are excited to have 15 bloggers sharing over 50 recipes this week as we head toward grilling season. I've got five new recipes coming your way this week!
This post is sponsored in conjunction with #BBQWeek. The sponsors, Rainier Foods and Intensity Academy, generously provided prize packages to give away to the readers, however, all opinions are mine alone.
One of my favorite apps to order when I go out is jalapeno poppers. I rarely fry at home so when I saw these grilled Bacon Cheddar Jalapenos on the Taste of Home site I couldn't wait to give them a try.
The first thing you want to do is cut the tops off the peppers and take out the seeds/membranes. I highly recommend using a tomato corer to do this, it makes it super easy.
Wrapping them in bacon took a little coordination, you want to make sure the top is tightly sealed to reduce as much oozage of the cheese as possible. Toothpicks are your friend here.
Let them grill, turning them occasionally until the peppers get soft and the bacon is brown and crispy. Serve them up as is or offer up some sour cream and guacamole for dipping.
The sponsors have donated some great prizes for the #BBQWeek giveaway and you can check them out and enter for your chance to win down below! Also be sure to follow the links to the other fantastic recipes that the BBQWeek bloggers are sharing.
