    Caramel Apple Iced Tea

Here in New England we start school the last week of August.  Now, I'm sure a lot of you are saying, so what? We do, too! The wrinkle here is, our schools are not air conditioned.  Those first few weeks can be uncomfortable for the kiddos, so I like to make sure I have nice cold treats waiting when my son gets home from school.

This post is sponsored in conjunction with Back to School Treats Week. I received product samples from sponsor companies to aid in the creation of the #BacktoSchoolTreats Week recipes. All opinions are mine alone.

There are lots of ways that you can make iced tea.  Some like hot brew or sun tea, but I prefer the cold brew method.  You want to use double the amount of tea bags as you do water, so I used 6 cups water, 12 tea bags.  Let it set for 30 to 45 mins at room temperature, and then move it to the fridge for about 4 hours.

You can make your own simple syrup, but using Torani makes it so much easier! They have regular or sugar free versions in a variety of flavors.  For this, I went with apple and caramel.  So refreshing and delicious in the liquid form, but it also makes absolutely fantastic popcicles!

Huge thanks to Torani and all of the other generous #BackToSchoolTreats Week sponsors! Be sure to enter for your chance to win one of the amazing prize packages down below.

I'm a huge fan of the Dunkin Donuts Power Breakfast sandwich, so when I started seeing ads for the new Egg White & Veggie Omelet Bites I stopped in and gave them a try.  They were delicious, but of course, I knew I could make them at home.

    Stuffed Waffles

I wasn't sure I was going to blog these stuffed waffles since it was the first time I tried using the new iron but since I'd already taken the pics as I went I figured, why not? They aren't perfect but they are delicious!

Since I already came up with a version of Dunkin Donuts new Egg White & Veggie Omelet Bites for myself, I decided to make the other variety that they are offering, Bacon & Cheddar, for my husband.
