Up until a year ago, I was a die-hard coffee drinker. A change in my eating habits also led to one in my drinking habits as well, and I've actually found quite a few teas that I enjoy. One of them is an apple spiced version, but it's not always available at my grocery store. I searched the Taste of Home site and found this version from Susan W.
I didn't make any changes to this recipe other than to use some dried sliced ginger root instead of the fresh. I used New Hampshire made apple cider from a local orchard. I like this recipe because it's easy to scale up for multiple servings, and I suspect it will be just as delicious over ice when the warmer weather hits.

Mmm...sounds so warm and comforting. It's chilly this morning I could definitely use a cup. I'm sure this is better than store-bought.
ReplyDeletePerfect drink year round. I would love a cup when sitting around a campfire in the fall.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect way to end the day!
