We are big waffle fans here. I'm always looking for something fun, something different, a little twist. I found this recipe on tasteofhome.com. I used whole milk, it's what we always have on hand. I used my belgian waffle maker, and got 2 waffles.
Next time I'd double the recipe. I love the nutmeg flavor, it worked well with some real NH maple syrup. I plan on making these again for our Christmas Eve breakfast. Thank you to James C for sharing your recipe :)

I love making special breakfast for holidays. These waffles look nice and fluffy. Glad you enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteThey had a good texture for a recipe that you don't separate the eggs. If you wanted them even fluffier, you could definitely do that and whip the whites and fold them back in.
ReplyDeleteLove this! My family loves waffles!
