Things are getting hectic around here. We close on the new house a week from tomorrow, and I've got boxes everywhere and a to do list a mile long. I've packed half the kitchen, and the challenge has been to make meals only using what I haven't packed.
We've been eating a lot of pasta, and usually we'd eat that with store bought Texas Toast. I found this recipe in the new Simple & Delicious cookbook, and it was perfect for using up some French Dinner rolls.
I used dried parsley and basil because it's what I had on hand. Very fast dish to put together and everyone loved it. Thank you so much Stephanie M for sharing your recipe!

This bread looks delicious and is perfect with pasta. I can see serving it with soup too.
ReplyDeleteIt would be great with soup!
DeleteWhat a great way to dress up otherwise plain garlic bread! Basil is a favourite spice. I love the subtle sweetness it adds!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to grow basil at the new house, but I have a notoriously black thumb ;)
DeleteThis recipe is speaking to me.....I've got lasagna on my mind at some point this week and this is a perfect addition to that menu! Looks delish
ReplyDeleteI've been doing lots of lasagna roll ups. I also thought it might make a great roll for a meatball type burger.
